The workout: 1-4 x (mile, 800m) with 75s rest after the mile and 90s rest after the 800m followed by 2 x (400m, 200m) with 60s rest after the 400m and 200m. The miles should be completed at tempo pace, the 800m at 5K pace; the 400m should be a little faster than 5K pace, and the 200m should be about mile pace. This workout targets aerobic development in the early section and works on speed in the second section and is a good race simulator.

Tuesday Night Track Club - meets every Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at the MSU Track until twe switch over to the trails at Lindley Park April 20th. Everyone who chooses to attend TNT is expected to comply with social distancing recommendations of staying 6 feet apart - sport masks are highly encouraged. Please don't attend if you or someone in your household is feeling sick. We will resume our end-of-month celebrations when we return to Lindley Park. The following week's workouts will typically be posted on Sunday. Tuesday Night Track is free and always open to any adult interested in participating (all levels are welcome!).
