How did your home look like when you were a kid? Draw details and surroundings so that the image comes to mind.
I grew up in a small town in the southern United States. My house was a one-story house on the first floor and was made of red brick and brown boarding. The garage was a white-painted board with some medium-sized trees and palm trees on the front in the lawn garden. There was a large pecan tree and a small shed in the backyard. I also grew some vegetables in a small field.
Tell us an embarrassing story about yourself (or your friends and family).
When I arrived at the airport on my way home from vacation and went out to the parking lot where my car was parked, I tried to get the key, but I couldn't find it anywhere and realized that it was gone. After searching for a lot, I finally took a taxi back to my apartment and asked the manager to open the key and put me in the house. The caretaker was distrustful of not having the key, so I had to make an excuse. After that, I searched all over the apartment while taking out my travel luggage, but I could not find it at all. When I took my last bag out of my bag, I noticed that there was a zipper in my pocket that I had forgotten to look up. As expected, the key was in it. It was very embarrassing. I asked my friend to send my car to the airport, but I was so busy that I ended up taking a taxi back to the airport.
What are the most important values in your current job? What is the reason? Has that value changed between now and in the past? If so, how has it changed?
I'm a new teacher, but I'm very grateful to be involved in the field of education. The reason is that I think that the relationship between people is the most important for the world to move in the right direction. I have been interested in the field of science since I was a kid, but I decided to study a foreign language for traveling abroad. At that time, I felt that a world I had never seen before appeared right in front of me. It's like an astronaut seeing a completely different world on a space trip. When I first started teaching, I was teaching that I should be able to convey the good connections between people little by little, but now, how much each language reflects each culture, for those who live in a global society to come in the future. I got a good idea of how important language plays. Machines will help us translate words and phrases, and their accuracy will improve day by day, but humanity will always use them to express ourselves and incorporate them into our culture.
