Parable of the Seed Growing Secretly: Mark 4.26-29

A farmer set out to scatter some seed

He slept and rose as he had the need.

Oh yes indeed

He knew that the seed, would sprout and grow.

But how did it grow, well nobody knows!

That’s how it goes.

The earth itself produces the crop

The stalk, the head, the grain at the top . .

And there it stops.

At harvest time, when the grain is ripe.

He takes his sickle, goes in with a swipe

He’s just the type!
