Parable of the Lost Sheep
Parable of the Lost Sheep : Luke 15. 1-7
If a shepherd has a hundred sheep
And then one goes astray,
Will he not leave the ninety-nine,
for the one that’s lost its way.
He’ll search until he finds it,
after all, it is his own.
He’ll call his friends and neighbours, crying,
“Look, I have brought him home!”
He’ll call his friends and neighbours, crying,
“Look, I have brought him home!”
There will be more joy in heaven
O’er a sinner who repents,
than over all the righteous ones,
so proud and confident!
And still the Shepherd’s calling out,
To lost ones all alone,
And when he finds them he will cry.
“Rejoice, I’ve brought them home!”
And when he finds them he will cry.
“Rejoice, I’ve brought them home!”
