Visual Aid: A Russian Doll

The large doll becomes the Father

The next the Son,

 the next the Holy Spirit.

First they come as one at the beginning…(then separate)

Out into the world comes Jesus at the incarnation…God in human form, the INCARNATION.

At his baptism the third person the Holy Spirit, is seen as God the Father says, ‘This is my Son in whom I am well pleased’. (The Spirit encircles Jesus)

The Son returns to heaven after the Resurrection, so that the Holy Spirit, can enter the world, and fill each person at Pentecost. Replace Jesus inside the Father.

The other two dolls, the very smallest ones, can always be used separately to tell of the ANNUNCIATION, when the angel appears to Mary, and tells her she is to have a son, God’s son, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Music; Look at the words and listen to ‘In the beginning’ from the Christmas Story, and mime the same actions to these words.
