Guess what? We didn’t hike in the snow this year at Hardwood Mills Park. Ellis was good enough to have his hike at First Landing Park in the snow this year. I think for the pasted 3 hikes, at Hardwood Mills, there was snow. We did have a little mud but that didn’t stop 33 Tuesday Groupers from coming out and hiking 6 miles. We met there in the parking lot next to the lake and after a short talk and everyone saying their name; we headed west towards the airport and made a loop of about 1.5 miles. Heading across Oriana Rd. to the other side of the park we log in another 4.5 miles looking for Bald Eagles and White Tail Deer but was only able to see one Eagle, all the deer were hiding. We were back right at 12:30 just like I had plan so we could go to Joe & Mimma’s Italian Rest. for lunch. All but 7 went to lunch and we finished there about 2:00 P.M. All had a good hike and lunch and will be ready for another one next Tuesday. Hope to see you there!
