Capital Trail Bike Ride 5/7/2019

We had a stellar ride today with absolutely perfect weather. We started at Chickahominy Riverfront Park heading west over the bridge towards Charles City Courthouse. Riding today were Ellis& Marti, Bill,&Diane, Kenny&Kay, Bruce &Margaret, Rich&Cindy, Steve&Stephanie, Bruce D, Bruce M, Jack, John F, Jim N, Richard, Craig, Dave, Brian, Joe, Carl, Bob M, Bob Saff, Sandy, Carolyn, Sharon, Ken, JP,Bill G and me, Phyllis. That's 32 riders- a sizable group though not a record. We rode about 14 miles to Cul's Courthouse Grille where we had a great lunch. The folks at Cul's were mighty nice to us -especially since we had called ahead and had arrived early (a little after 11am) to avoid the lunch rush. After lunch we pedaled back to the Park-at a slightly slower pace. Then some of us headed to Brewster's for ice cream. So, about 28 miles and lots of smiles . Another great day for the Tuesday Group!
