Deep Creek/Dismal Swamp Canal Trail 3/26/24

The TG enjoyed a group bike ride from Deep Creek Park on the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail.

Despite the cool weather and a sprinkle of rain, 17 riders and 3 hikers had a delightful outing on the Dismal Swamp Canal Trail today! The smooth, traffic-free path provided a scenic escape for the group, even with a slight chill in the air on the return trip to Deep Creek Park.

The camaraderie continued after the ride with some eating lunches at the picnic tables at Deep Creek Park. Thanks to Phyllis for the festive chocolate Easter eggs and Marti for the brownies – a perfect way to end an amazing spring group ride!
