Polar Vortex Hike 11-18-14
The bike ride that turned into a hike! over 20 hardy souls showed up for what we thought was going to be a freezing cold hike on the Dismal Swamp Trail. As it turned out it was a sunny, beautiful day without the predicted wind. We all had a great 6.5+ mile walk. No mud, no muss, no fuss. After, we all headed to a restaurant (new for most of us) called Tenko Japan for some Japanese fast food Chinese menu style. We all found something we liked… but Ellis refused to entertain us by using the chopsticks! All in all, a great day!
