We had a splendid day for a bike ride-sun, warm temperatures and just enough breeze to make it interesting. Twenty Tuesday Groupers made the trek from my house to York River State Park. We had to portage at Richardsons Mill Pond which was only a little challenging--not as challenging as the hill afterwards. In fact, there were a lot of hills on this ride. Anyway, we rode to the park, ate lunch, saw a bunch of school kids, a HUGE shark tooth, walked on the beach and then rode back to my house for a spectacular ice cream sundae bar. It was the best part of the ride--which was about 27 miles--give or take.
