Holiday Hike 12/17/24

I was delighted to see that Ed and Judy were leading another Christmas walk in Norfolk. This year would be  special because it would be on December17 which would be my 80th birthday! To make sure I secured one of the 30 available spaces, I sent in my email reservation request on December 13 but for some reason that request never made it to Norfolk.

On Monday, I was disappointed to see that all the 30 reserved places were all taken and I didn't have a seat at the table! Then Bruce called. He had been volunteering at False Cape so much that he had not reserved a space on the Christmas Walk. I loved his suggestion that we should not stay home Tuesday but go on a bike ride. We decided to ride to the ferry and meet the Tuesday Group at the Chrysler Glass Studio.

We met up with Ed and Judy and the Tuesday Group at  Waterside. There we learned that two people had dropped out so there would be seats for us at lunch with the group!

Merry Christmas everyone!
