San Miguel De Allende, GTO Mexico

One of the coolest places we've ever been! SMA located in the central highlands of Mexico is about 150 miles northwest of Mexico City. It is situated in a valley at about 5500 ft above sea level.

San Miguel was founded around 1551 before the Spanish arrived. The architecture is incredible here with many buildings daring back to the 16th century.

Some of the attractions include the parroquia in the middle of town, the market and the ancient ruins canada de la virgen located just outside town.
