Bacon Jalapeno Bleu Cheese Louisiana Hot Sauce Chicharron Burger
Thats a mouthful to say but you'll get a mouthful of flavor if you make some of these bad boys. Easy to make it requires ingredient most everyone has either in their kitchen or at a nearby store. Good beef, fresh buns, some soft bleu cheese, candied jalapeños and of course, a double shot of pork!
Ingredients
Hamburger patties, thin, seasoned well with salt and pepper
Golden Flake (or your favorite) Louisiana Hot Sauce Pork Skins
Good fresh, soft and warmed hamburger buns
Bleu cheese, soft, melting style sliced thick, about 2 oz per burger
Candied Jalapeños
Thick slice bacon, fried crispy, drained
Cook the bacon slowly in a heavy skillet until crispy, leave grease in pan and let bacon drain on a paper towel.
Heat the skillet on high until the bacon grease is smoking. Be careful here because when you put the patties in it will "pop" at you. Carefully add the patties.
Cook patties flipping only once until slightly charred (about 2-3 min each side). Add jalapeños and bleu cheese in that order to the top of the burger after the first flip. Top with lid or steaming dome to help melt the cheese.
Dress bun with your favorite toppings and add the bacon to the bottom bun, then top bacon with the burger and then pork skins on the very top of the pile. Top with bun, mash down and serve immediately.
