Top Shelf Margarita - The second best margarita - hands down!
Chill mugs in freezer.
Makes approx 1 quart.
Juice from 1 lime squeezed into quart size shaker
3 jiggers Cuervo Reposado or other premium tequila (no bar brand)
1 jigger Cointreau
1 jigger triple sec
1 jigger Grand marnier
5-6 jiggers (7 1/2 - 9 oz) Finest Call margarita mixer or other premium mixer.
Cuervo Margarita salt
Dash of Blue Curaco
Fill shaker almost to top with ice with and add ingredients in order and shake several times. Rim chilled mug with lime slice then twirl in salt, knock off excess. Put pinch of salt in bottom of mug. Pour into frosted, salted mug. Garnish with lime slice. Add a dash of Blue Curaco to each glass to finish.
