A true Thanksgiving day specialty. Great with the rich savory flavors. This recipe is for 2lb bread maker or can also be mixed in a large bowl.
3/4cup +2 tbsp milk
1/3cup water
1/3 cup butter
1 egg
4 cups bread flour
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 tsp active dry yeast
Mix dough and divide into two halves.
If mixed in a bowl, let rise in a warm place for an hour.
Roll into pizza shape and brush the top generously with butter. Cut into equally sized wedges, roll each wedge from large end towards small end. Brush tops of rolls with butter.
Spray baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray and place rolls leaving room to rise. Let rise another about 45 minutes.
Bake at 350 until golden brown about 15 minutes.
