**SMOKED MEATS** CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE - CHECK BACK SOON
This adaptation of a favorite munchie snack is worse than Lays Potato Chips, you cannot eat just one!
Very easy to make in about 30 minutes and they don't need to be refrigerated afterwards. Makes about a gallon. Set them aside for at least 24 hours as they get better with time...
2/3 cup canola oil
2 (1-oz.) package ranch dressing mix
1 package Zesty Italian Dressing mix
1 tablespoon dried dill
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cardamom
1 tsp cayenne pepper (or more to taste)
2 (16-oz.) packages bite-size crackers (such as Cheez-Its, saltines or club)
Whisk together all dry ingredients first then add oil and stir well in a small bowl.
Place crackers in a large bowl or gallon zip lock bag and drizzle the oil mixture Toss to coat.
Place flat on counter and gently flip every couple of hours.
Any excess oil can be absorbed by placing a paper towel in the bag and then gently flipping the crackers on top of the paper towel.
Store in large ziplock bag or in airtight containers.
