Welcome to our secret recipe for High Cotton dry rub, please do not share! This is the best ever steak rub. An adopted recipe with additions by Carol from Epicurious Cowboy Barbecued Steaks.
4 tbsp finely ground coffee
2 tbsp chili powder
2 tbsp garlic powder
2 tbsp kosher salt
2 tbsp fresh coarse ground pepper
2 tbsp dried thyme
Makes just over 1 1/4 cups.
Mix well, store in airtight container. Season steaks or burgers lightly.
