Turkey chicken Artichoke soup

A LITTLE NOTE HERE ABOUT THE RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

• Broth from 1 turkey

• 2 cups water

• Add carrots, celery, onion to taste

• 2 garlic cloves, minced

• Poultry seasoning

• Garlic Salt

• 1 pint cooked Chicken and broth

• 1 t. better than bullion chicken base

• Simmer homestyle noodles with  the broth to soften

• The juice ONLY (drain off the fat) from one quart size jar of marinated artichokes with some small pieces

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. The turkey has it's share of fat, and that is where a lot of the flavor resides, so I didn't want to get rid of it. So I thickened it with an equal part of flour and after it had boiled 2 minutes, I added a cup of milk to make a thick sauce, which when the rest of the soup was done, I added it to it and mixed.

MAKES: about 3 quarts of soup.
