"My doctor told me to quit throwing dinner parties for 4 unless there are 3 other people - [sigh]" - Gramps
I got this recipe out of the Thanksgiving Point magazine that comes in the mail to us. I haven't actually tried them yet, but they look so easy and I love truffles that I had to save the recipe here.
INGREDIENTS:
8 ounce package cream cheese, softened
3 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
3 cups semisweet chocolate chips, melted
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until well blended.
Stir in melted chocolate and vanilla until no streaks remain. Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in ground walnuts (or any ground nuts), cocoa, coconut, confectioners' sugar, or candy sprinkles.
MAKES: I'm not sure how many.
