"My doctor told me to quit throwing dinner parties for 4 unless there are 3 other people - [sigh]" - Gramps
This is SO EASY (2 minutes to make) but SO good. I made it and it was much better than I expected. I let Marilyn have some and she was a big fan. I let Breanna taste it and she wouldn't leave my side until it was gone! Marilyn has made it for a few neighbors now. Yea...it's THAT good. From the kitchen of: Grandma & GrampsINGREDIENTS:1 unit (however big you want it to be) of softened cream cheese
1/2 unit of marshmallow cream
Some caramel syrup (I use my Smuckers sugar free. Marilyn uses regular)
Some Nuts (optional....I've used macadamia nuts and peanuts, both were good)
Some English Toffee bits (I've not used this, but people say it's out of this world good)
Some apple slices (I like Golden Delicious with it, Marilyn likes Granny Smith with it)
INSTRUCTIONS:Soften your cream cheese. I used the microwave
Stir in approximately half that much marshmallow cream & mix well
Stir in (or sprinkle on top if you want it pretty) nuts
Stir in (or drizzle on top if you want it pretty) caramel syrup
Sprinkle toffee bits on top if you use them
Slice up your apples and dip away! (Don't tell your family it's ready until you've eaten at least 3 dipped apple slices, otherwise you may be trampled and not get any......)
MAKES: Well....that depends on what your "unit" is as well as your definition of "some".
