THIS IS MY ATTEMPT TO REPRODUCE THE ROSEMARY BREAD SERVED AT MACARONI GRILL.

Mix and let foam:
1 Tbs. Yeast
1 Tbs. Sugar
1 C Warm water
Add:
1 Tbs butter
1 tsp salt
2 1/2 C flour
2 Tbs fresh rosemary or about 1 Tbs dried
Mix and knead for 5 min. in electric mixer -- longer if by hand.
Let rise one hour, punch and divide in half.
Let rest for 5 min.
Shape into 2 round loaves and sprinkle with an additional tablespoon of rosemary and garlic salt.
Slash loaves on top.
Let loaves rise again about 45 min.
Bake 12-20 min. at 375 degrees.
Brush with butter and sprinkle with more garlic salt if needed.
Serve with olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
MAKES: 2 small loaves or 1 large loaf
