PREP TIME: 10 MINUTES (INCLUDING TIME TO MAKE BISCUITS) COOK TIME: 15 MINUTES • YIELD: 2 SERVINGS
INGREDIENTS
4 ounces bulk breakfast sausage
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
⅓ cup half-and-half
Salt and pepper
1 batch 60-Second Mug Biscuits (here), for serving
Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan over medium heat, brown the sausage, using a wooden spoon or spatula to break up the clumps of meat.
Add the cream cheese and stir until blended. Pour in the half-and-half and stir until well mixed.
Allow the gravy to reduce over medium heat until the desired consistency is reached, 3 to 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve the gravy over the biscuits. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
