German chocolate Coconut pecan frosting
From the kitchen of: Marilyn GronemanINGREDIENTS:1 C evaporated milk
1 c sugar
3 egg yolks
1/4 lb butter
1 t. vanilla
INSTRUCTIONS:Mix together & cook and stir over medium heat until it thickens (about 12 minutes or until desired consistency)
Add 1 1/3 c coconut
Add 1 c chopped nuts or pecans. I usually use walnuts.
Spread on cooled cake and enjoy!
