Pesto
Pesto (May be frozen)From the kitchen of: Marilyn GronemanINGREDIENTS:1/3 C chopped Roasted salted Almonds. Pine-nuts are good too, but not necessary.
3 cloves Garlic
1 1/2 c fresh Basil
1/2 c olive oil
1 pinch nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste (I use about 1/2 t salt 1/4 t pepper
1/3 c fresh Parmesan cheese
INSTRUCTIONS:Put the Basil in the food processor and chop fine.
Add the other ingredients and mix together.
Add to the top of cooked noodles and mix.
I also like to add more Parmesan Cheese to the top when serving.
MAKES: Serves 6
