"My doctor told me to quit throwing dinner parties for 4 unless there are 3 other people - [sigh]" - Gramps
Good for groundhog day parties, thanksgiving, dinner, or midnight snack.
From the kitchen of: Mel's Kitchen Cafe
1 1/2 cups cooked, finely diced chicken
8 ounces cream cheese, light or regular, softened to room temperature
1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles
1/4 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons hot sauce (more or less to taste)
1 recipe pretzel dough
2 tablespoons butter, for brushing
Make yer dough. Let it rise in the bag (I don't really get the bag thing...just cover it somehow).
Combine filling stuff.
Preheat dishwasher to 475°
Put sprayed parchment paper on a cookie sheet if you feel like it. Or just spray the pan.
After the dough raises, split into 2 blobs and roll 'em out to 12 x 6 inches or so.
Spread half of the filling on one of the long edges of the dough, about 1/3 of the width of the whole thing.
Roll it out, and make 1 inch-ish slices out of it.
Put it on the pan, and bake it in your preheated dishwasher for 8-10 minutes.
Paint with garlic-salted butter or Kosher Salted butter if y'ont to.
MAKES: 2 dozen of 'em ... depending on how you put it together.
