EVERYBODY LOVES CREAM PUFFS!
From the kitchen of: Katie's FamilyINSTRUCTIONS:Preheat oven to 375º
Combine in a saucepan and bring to a boil:
1/2 C. Water
4 Tbs. Butter
Remove from the heat and add all at once, stirring vigorously with a wooden spoon:
1/2 C. Flour
Return to moderate heat and stir constantly until the dough leaves the sides of the pan and forms a ball. Remove from the heat and let cool for about 5 minutes.
Add 2 eggs, one at a time, beating hard until the dough is smooth.
Place large, rounded tablespoons of dough on an un-greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake for 30 minutes or until puffs are golden brown. Carefully slice the tips off the puffs and scoop out the centers. Fill with desired filling (Pudding, chicken salad, etc.) Replace the tops and frost if desired.
You can also just inject pudding stuff into the puffs with a cake decorating kit icing bag and tip.
MAKES: 14 puffs
