Vinegar Chicken (GF)
THIS IS THE FAMOUS VINEGAR CHICKEN THAT TASTES SO GOOD BARBECUED. ACTUALLY, I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT ANY OTHER WAY.
From the kitchen of: Marilyn Groneman. A traditional family recipe from the Rasmussen Reunions. Nobody knows who it actually came from.
INGREDIENTS:
2 C apple cider vinegar
3 t salt
1 T poultry seasoning
1 t pepper
1 egg
1 c oil (Mix the above first, and add this last)
5 chicken breasts (or however many fit in the stuff)
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the first 5 ingredients.
Add the oil last.
Marinade the chicken breasts in a water-tight container (tupper-ware type thing) so you can periodically shake up the mix.
I like to cut up the chicken breasts to smaller sizes so that the flavor can better infiltrate the whole chicken...
Marinade over-night if possible, although we've had good success only having it marinade for a couple of hours.
BBQ and enjoy.
MAKES: However much chicken you can fit into the stuff
