The manipulation of one's blood is considered a dark art, taboo in most cultures due to its unnatural and inherently "dark" nature.
Prerequisite(s): Anatomy or Divination (Dririmancy) at Trained Rank or higher
The following Talent must be selected first.
Hematic Access: You've gone through the necessary ritual, though grueling, to gain access to 'blood magic', enabling you to take the talents available from this talent tree. You are considered a spellcaster if you weren't already however if you weren't prior you can only learn spells and spells must relate to blood in some way (up to GM's discretion on what this means). If you are reduced to 0 MP, you suffer from Bleed at Moderate Intensity, this cannot be reduced below 1 by Blood Clot or similar effects.
Bleeding Edge (Simple Technique): Slashing and piercing weapons you use are considered to have the Bleed property even if they wouldn't have it normally. In addition to this all bleed damage is increased by 1 with these weapons.
Blood Clot: You reduce bleed damage you would take by an amount equal to your Health (minimum of 0 bleed damage).
Blood Puppetry: Spend 5 Magic Points and 5 Stamina to make an Anatomy skill check against an opponent's Bodily Defense. On a successful hit, you can forcibly move the target 1 square; this can be used on the opponent's turn or your turn, whichever you choose, however it can only affect the same target once per day.
Cannibalistic Healing: Once per day you can recover half of your maximum Hit Points by spending 5 Magic Points, and eating at least a meal's worth of meat from a sentient humanoid.
Bloodthirsty Spell: You can cut yourself open as a means to further enhance the spell, though this is done at a risk to your life. As part of casting a spell you can attempt to use this ability, you willingly subject yourself to damage from a slashing or piercing weapon you possess (if you don't possess one, assume you use a dagger-like shiv) and for each point of Hit Point damage you deal to yourself you add an additional 4 damage onto the spell damage of the spell you're casting.
