Alignments: The Great Horde (Faction/Religious), Jingoism (Ideology), Grak-Varr (Allegiance), Shamanism (Ideology)
The Great Horde is a collective of Orcs seeking to live out a life of near-endless battle. Death however is only honorable if they fight, and as such many Orcs are drawn to joining a countries' military or becoming a part of a military band rather than partaking in mindless slaughter. Raping and pillaging aren't prohibited, but seen as distractions to their true goal - to find a great battle to partake in.
Leader of the Great Horde, Grak-Varr, is an Orc Warlord who has distinguished himself in battle many times. Though the leader, he has no power nor sway over the group as a whole and is instead renown for his seemingly inhuman durability, being thought dead countless times yet always coming back again and again.
The following are options only available to characters who are part of the Great Horde. GMs are free to change the Great Horde as a faction to their own, but it's not recommended to remove the faction-based restrictions on character choices presented here.
Sea of Green: So long as an Orc or an ally with this talent is within 4 squares of you, you receive a +1 bonus to Physical Defense, Mental Defense, and Bodily Defense. This bonus stacks with bonuses to your Defenses from other talents (normally, only the highest bonus is taken).
The Endless War: Choose a type of opponent to fight; this can be a culture, religion, species, occupation, and so on. So long as it isn't too broad, and specific enough to be a group to fight. Examples include Catholicism (religion), Italians (cultural), Elves (species), and Slavers (occupation).
If you get into a fight with an opponent of the group chosen, you earn an additional 1 TP. However, you MUST engage in a fight if you encounter them in order to earn this TP - choosing to negotiate, deal with them nonviolently, or even let them go peacefully are seen as cowardice and you must choose to flagellate yourself if you choose not to fight or lose this trait. If you lose this trait, you can choose a new one immediately.
