Charming little demons who use their expertise to weasel their way into people's lives.

Physical Description

Small and dutiful, Imps stand around 3' on average and have red skin and leathery bat-like wings. Their tails are long and floppy, and atop their head are spiral horns. Lastly Imps possess red eyes and long pointed ears.

Personality

Imps are deceitful and love to pull pranks, though unlike the tricks of the fae the tricks of these small devils ends up on the more malicious side. In addition to this the imps like to make those around them suffer in various ways, taking pleasure in making incrementally more malicious tricks

Imp Stats

Ability Bonus: Imps receive a +1 bonus to Reason and Rhetoric.

Disguise: Imps can change their shape to disguise as a small animal (such as a dog or cat) however they maintain the same stats. They receive a +10 bonus on checks to maintain this disguise.

Hellish Grin: Imps receive a +5 bonus to Persuasion and Trickery.

Lilitu

Desert demons who haunt the desolate ruins of once-standing cities, towns, and buildings. Those unfortunate enough to happen in their territory are met in their sleep by the demoness who promptly devours them.

Physical Description

Lilitu's true forms stand around 5'5'' on average with hair colors congruent with the people of the region they inhabit (typically a black or brown), they possess expressionless eyes which resemble a full moon in a dark sky, and their face lacks the typical facial features of a human and are instead replaced by the mandibles of an arachnid. This 'true form' is one which they try to avoid showing to others in order to properly fool their prey, instead disguising themselves as a regular woman until it's time to eat.

Personality

Sly and natural deceivers, the Lilitu know people don't trust them and as such have fully embraced their roles as fiends willing to seduce unwitting men in their sleep only to reveal the horrifying reality as their mandibles chomp down hard. This often leads to the association of Lilitu with Succubi, confusing the two creatures as the same creature to some, merely viewing Lilitu as the more monstrous of their kind (much to both succubi and lilitu's chagrin).

Lilitu Stats

Ability Bonus: Lilitu receive a +1 bonus to Rhetoric and Voice.

Beautiful Form: Lilitu can alter their physical appearance to that of a beautiful woman instead of their normally hideous form. This can be performed once per day and lasts for 2d4 hours, and if the Lilitu chooses to feed as per their ability below, this ability ends.

Mandibles: Lilitu possess a bite attack which deals 3d4 points of slashing damage, and possesses the Deadly property.

Dream Feeding: So long as the target is asleep the Lilitu can attempt to siphon their life essence, first requiring them to touch the target and then making a bite attack with their mandibles against the opponent's Mental Defense. On a successful hit the target loses 3d4 points of Resolve, Sanity, Stamina Points, and Magic Points. If one of these would be brought to 0 from this ability, it deals another 1d4 damage to each (excluding any which are 0 or below).

Carnifex

From the deepest reaches of hell, the Carnifex dwells in deep contemplation and pain.

Physical Description

The Carnifex typically stand tall at around 6'4'' on average and possess no hair, eyes, mouths, ears, or even noses (although they may possess outlines of where these may have been), and in addition to this they typically have unnaturally thin bodies with bones hugging against their paper-thin flesh which often bleeds profusely even from the slightest scratch.

Personality

Being named after their primary function, Carnifex are hell's torturers who often find themselves musing about how best to torture those in hell or mortals in the world of the living. This desire for torture unnerves those around them, even among the other demons of hell, and they approach every situation with a similarly cold and calculating technique. Despite being the torturers of hell, Carnifex often physically suffer just as much as well due to their bodies being so fragile, although their mental state is so warped they enjoy and take pleasure in the pain dealt to them equally as much as the pain they inflict on others.

Carnifex Stats

Ability Bonus: Carnifex receive a +1 bonus to Precision and Reason.

Pain and Pleasure: Carnifex take pleasure in pain, reveling in it. If they are inflicted with the Pain status effect they receive a bonus to all checks (excluding damage) depending on the severity of the pain. Low Intensity grants a +3, Moderate Intensity grants a +8, and Severe Intensity grants a +15. They also do not reduce their movement speed at Moderate Intensity and do not fall prone at Severe Intensity.

Natural Torturer: Carnifex receive Anatomy at Trained Rank if they didn't already, and receive the Gag of Hell and Diabolic Aura spells from the Pain spells even if they aren't spellcasters, and can use their Magic Points to cast these spells. Carnifex receive a +5 bonus to all checks made to torture (except in the case of torturing for a Pain spell).
