Used for trapping creatures larger than a typical humanoid (although they work on creatures of most sizes), bear traps snatch around a target’s foot and hinder their movement. If someone steps on a square that a bear trap is placed in, they have an attack (at a +14) made against their Physical Defense. On a successful hit, the attack deals 4d8+5 piercing damage and the target halves their speed if they are Huge or smaller. These can be hidden using Hide, and to disable the trap one must succeed at a DC 25 Lockpicking check.

Horns can be used to convey simple commands or concepts (such as “Retreat”, “Attack”, or “We’re being attacked!”) Signal horns require no Hearing check to hear so long as you are within a mile. Outside of that range it requires a DC 10 Hearing check, +5 for every additional mile.

This can be used as a weapon in order to trap people. First, make a ranged attack using the net against the target’s Physical Defense. On a successful hit they take a -5 to Physical Defense and also they have their speed halved and cannot run or charge. Second if the character moves and they fail a DC 20 Balance check they are tripped. In order to escape the person entangled in the net must spend their standard action to make a DC 30 Contortion check to get out of the net, or attack the rope with a light slashing weapon. The net has 0 Physical Defense and 5 HP.
Nets count as Weapon (Simple) for the purpose of weapon abilities and attack rolls, but Weapon Techniques cannot be used on it.

Rope can be used to tie people up, tied up for swinging over a ledge or hazard, and many other uses. To escape from rope bindings you must make a successful Contortion check (DC = 30 + double Power of the one tying). It can also be used like a weapon to attempt a grapple check, counting as Weapon (Simple) with 3 square reach and only able to perform attacks which do the Grapple Weapon Technique. Rope comes in 50 feet quantities (effectively 10 sq. worth of rope).
