These tools are useful in aiding those without the capability of seeing in the dark. Despite this however they are usually limited in their uses, and require replenishment or to be replaced.

Descriptions: Candles are inexpensive and held in a candle holder while they burn. Creatures with Standard Vision can see an additional 2 squares out, however the area doesn't upgrade from Dark to Dim. Candles only burn for 1 hour.

Descriptions: Torches are common and ubiquitous among adventurers. Creatures with Standard Vision can see an additional 6 squares out, and upgrades the light level of the surrounding region from Dark to Dim. Torches only burn for 2 hours. They can also be used as clubs that deal 1d8 fire damage in addition to its regular damage when used in combat, however they have 6 Integrity and reduce Integrity by 1 each time it's used in combat.

Descriptions: Lamps are common in towns and cities, however aren't as convenient as torches for adventurers. Creatures with Standard Vision can see an additional 4 squares out, and upgrades the light level of the surrounding region from Dark to Dim. Lamps only burn for 6 hours, and need to be refueled with 1 pint of lamp oil (1 silver).
Lamps can be used as an improvised thrown weapon as well, having a 4 square range and on impact the lamp explodes out dealing 3d4 points of fire damage and 1d4 slashing damage. On a failed hit, it deals half the fire damage instead and deals no slashing damage.
