Grooming things.
Ability Score(s): Common Sense
Usage: Taking care of a character or creature's outward appearance and 'neatness', this process varies from species to species. For example, Dwarves may focus on trimming their beard to look well kept while Orcs care very little for it and may drape themselves in freshly washed clothes as their "grooming". This process is up to the player and/or GM as to how it takes place.
Grooming checks are usually made well in advance to a social situation. A grooming check versus a DC 30 must be made, and on a success the recipient of the grooming receives a +5 to all social checks for 1 hour plus 1 hour for every point over 24 the check made (minimum of only 1 hour). This bonus stacks with other bonuses to social checks which may come from a similar source.
