Some blacksmiths may be able to fashion armor, but the Armorer is where one goes for a master's opinion...
Armorers must have taken Blacksmith at least once, and must have Armorsmithing at Trained Rank or higher.
Armorers increase these skills;
+2 Rank to Armorsmithing.
+1 Rank to Blacksmithing and Haggling.
Armorers receive the following skills;
Anatomy at Trained Rank.
Armorers don't receive any special equipment as part of their occupation.
Armorers increase their wage per month by 30 Silver.
Armorers are masters of putting together and crafting armor and costs 4 TP in order to take it as a Promotion to the Blacksmith. Due to their skill with creating suits of armor, they are often commissioned for armies to specially craft armor for higher ranking soldiers.
Armorers also do well when combined with the Hero, Juggernaut, or Knight occupations.
A Perfect Fit: When creating a set of specially made armor, the Armorer reduces the Armor Penalty by 4, and any movement speed penalties from the armor are removed. This only applies if the Armorer knows the individual they're crafting the armor for and has had ample time to measure them properly.
Sturdy Like Iron: Armorers receive a +2 bonus to their Physical Defense. This bonus increases to a +5 instead if the Armorer is wearing a piece of armor on all of their body parts.
