You have a loyal companion who follows you and aids you in combat.

You must select the following talent first:
Loyal Companion: You have a companion who follows you throughout your journey who grows alongside you. This may be a devoted pet, a steed, or attack animal, or a mixture of the three. Its typing depends on what Nature skill you possess when first taking this talent. If your loyal companion would ever be slain, you can receive a new companion - and are allowed to change the type if you possess new Nature skills.
All companions can be either Small, Medium, or Large size.
Small companions receive a +1 to their Dexterity and a +1 to two Dexterity sub-attributes.
Medium companions receive a +1 to Physique and a +1 to one Physique sub-attribute.
Large companions receive a +1 to Physique and a +2 to two Physique sub-attributes.
Nature (Animal): Your companion is of the Animal type. They either have one primary natural attack, or one primary and two secondary natural attacks. If you choose to only give them a primary natural attack, its damage is as if it were one size category larger. If you give them one primary and two secondary natural attacks, the two secondary natural attacks are as if they were one size category smaller.
Animals have a base land speed of 8 squares.
Nature (Bird): As Animal above, can choose to decrease its land speed in exchange for fly speed. For example, if you reduce its land speed by 4, you can give it a 4 square fly speed. However, you can choose to not decrease it and have a flightless bird (such as an Ostrich). Its land speed cannot decrease below 1.
Nature (Fish): As Animal above, can choose to decrease its land speed in exchange for swim speed. For example, if you reduce its land speed by 4, you can give it a 4 square swim speed. It must have a swim speed of at least 1 square, and can have no land speed to effectively replace it with a swim speed.
Loyal Companion: You have a companion who follows you throughout your journey, and whose type is up to you. This talent must be taken first before taking other talents in this talent tree.
Animal: Animals
Add a +1 to Physique or Dexterity.
Cryptid: Beasts
Add a +2 to Intellect and +1 to Wisdom.
Avian: Birds
Land speed becomes fly speed.
Aquatic: Fish
Land speed becomes swim speed.
Elemental: Mineral
Cannot wear armor, but is treated as having a Breastplate, Great Helm, Gauntlets, and a Sabaton naturally.
Fungus: Mycology
Immune to mind-affecting effects and can put enemies to sleep with attacks (on a successful Brawling vs. Mental Defense)
Plant: Plants
Immune to mind-affecting effects and immune to critical hits. Takes double damage from fire.
All companions receive an 8 in Physique and Dexterity, 2 in Intellect, 3 in Wisdom, and 4 in Charisma. How the sub-abilities are determined is up to you. Each of the different creature types above list special bonuses gained by being that creature type. This companion has a 6 square land speed, and is only able to communicate language-wise with you. Its base HP is 15.
Resolute Companion: Your companion has an increased 8 to HP.
War Training: Your companion receives a +1 bonus to all Defenses, and a bonus 2 squares to its movement speed.
