Gladiators have no special prerequisites
Gladiators receive the following skills;
Hearing, Sight, and Search at Apprentice Rank.
Brawling, Wrestling, Push/Pull, Heavy Lifting, and Hurl at Trained Rank.
Weapon (one weapon group), Storytelling, Trickery, Acting, and Persuasion at Competent Rank.
Gladiators receive the following equipment for their job; an iron helm, leather bracers, leather leggings, a weapon worth 75 Silver or less, and regular clothing.
Gladiators make money based on their performance in the arena; a good performance offers 20 + 3d10 Silver, and a poor performance offers 20 - 3d6 Silver.
Gladiators are performance combatants who play to the crowd and try to put on a good show rather than just winning and it costs 4 TP in order to take it as an occupation. "Doing well" in a battle usually means making a battle interesting, and is subject to the type of audience present. Usually winning is part of putting up a good performance however even a spectacular loss may pay well.
Gladiators also do well when combined with any other Warrior occupations.
