Most characters and humanoids need clothes in order to survive; clothes not only offer protection against the elements but also protect from discomfort. All characters start the game with a set of clothing worth no more than 10 Silver, and start the game with a pair of shoes. They can of course, choose not to start without clothing but...well, why would you?

Standard sets of clothes typically consisting of a tunic, pants, a skirt, and/or a plain dress. Also included is a belt, a coin purse, a handkerchief, and some cloth wrappings (usually wrapped around one's feet or hands).

Clothes meant to help one in the cold, these usually include heavy woolen shirts and pants as well as a heavy cloak, a woolen cap, scarves, boots, and woolen gloves. While wearing these clothes you receive a +5 bonus to your Bodily Defense against cold weather conditions, and a +2 bonus to Physical Defense against ice damage. Outside of a cold environment it treats the environment as one step higher (normal temperature becomes hot, and so on) and you suffer a -5 penalty to Bodily Defense against hot weather.

Clothes meant to be worn in hot weather environments, these usually include loose linen clothes along with turbans or other loose head coverings meant to keep the sun and sand (if any) out of your eyes. While wearing these clothes you receive a +5 bonus to your Bodily Defense against hot weather conditions. In cold environments it provides little to no protection and thus you suffer a -5 penalty to Bodily Defense against cold weather while wearing this.

Fashionable clothing designed for looking one's best, these clothes are befitting of a noble and include precious fabrics as well as jewelry to compliment the outfit. While wearing this outfit you receive a +2 bonus on Social skill checks when dealing with nobility, and a +5 bonus to Trickery and Disguise checks to appear as a noble to those unaware.

Worn to cover one's face and conceal their identity, wearing a mask grants a +4 bonus to Disguise checks while the mask is on.

Accessories characters can wear, jewelry comes in many shapes and forms such as rings and necklaces. More expensive jewelry exists however 50 Silver is the cheapest one can buy jewelry good enough to be considered jewelry. Alternatively, fake jewelry can be bought, this fake jewelry requires an Appraise skill check to be made to discover it is a fake (DC 15 + 2 for every 10 Silver the fake jewelry was worth).

Snowshoes can be worn on the feet in place of regular shoes, halving any speed penalties you would be taking from difficult terrain in snowy environments, as well as adding a +5 bonus to Balance checks while in icy or snowy environments or to balance on ice or in snow.
