Brother

Catholic monks who shelter themselves from the world, studying the mysteries of the faith and the world as a whole. Females are referred to as Nuns instead of Monks, and Sisters instead of Brothers.

Prerequisites

Brothers must have 3 or higher in Reason, Intuition, and Common Sense

Skills

Brothers receive the following skills;

Etiquette, Persuasion, and Remember Detail at Apprentice Rank.

Bookbinding, Constellations, Language (Read/Write/Speak): Latin, and Cartography at Trained Rank.

Religion (Christianity), Philosophy, Research, and Ritual at Competent Rank.

Equipment

Brothers receive the following equipment for their job; monk's (or nun's) robes, a Latin book of prayers, writing tools (ink, pen, and parchment), and regular clothing.

Brothers make 18 Silver per month. Their monastic order often restricts their purchases to scholarly pursuits and necessities (like food).

Training

Brothers make up those devoted to the monastic traditions of Christianity and seek to deepen their understanding of both the physical world but also the spiritual, and it costs 4 TP in order to take it as an occupation.

Brother also do well when combined with any other Religious or Scholarly occupations.
