For putting engravings in objects.
Ability Score(s): Precision
Usage: Engraving wooden or other surfaces with intricate patterns, art, and/or writing.
It is used as an occupational skill and thus is either used to craft the desired good or attempt to make your wage with it. For each day you spend in a month working your profession, you make a DC 26 (+2 per additional day) check and for each success you have you increase your wage by 10%. Failures reduce your additional wages by 10% (to a minimum of 0% new wages or no increase to your wage). Typically a moderately successful character makes an additional 25% to 60% of their wage in additional money.
Engraving for 1 hour yields 1d6 engraved items if you succeed at a DC 20 check. For every 5 you beat the DC by you increase the amount of engraved items by 1d6+1.
Instead of engraving individual items you can instead engrave a number of squares upon a flat surface equal to however many engraved items you sacrifice to instead engrave squares. For example to engrave a large sized square (a total of 4 squares) you would need to roll a minimum of 4 on your amount of items engraved.
