The ability to see things, especially when out of place.
Ability Score(s): Reaction + Intuition
Usage: Sight covers the act of being able to see something, especially in the case of something being difficult to see or attempting not to be seen. In most scenarios, Sight is being tested against a DC or the Hide skill.
In order to test Sight against an individual attempting to Hide, they cannot have Total Concealment, blocking your ability to see them. Otherwise this would require a Search check instead, using Sight as an Exchange. Individuals attempting to use Hide against you receive a +5 bonus to their check if you are unaware of their presence when making the check, as they aren't alert and thus haven't begun scanning for signs of you. If they are aware however (such as if they've heard you, or know you are in their area) they receive a +5 bonus to their check. Merely being alert and looking out for any hidden targets provides no bonuses nor penalties to either party.
For every 2 squares an individual is away from you, increase the DC (or opposed check by the opponent) by +1.
Being able to see and notice a creature not attempting to hide in any way is a DC 10 base, using the above distance increase where applicable. Unmoving, inanimate objects are instead DC 0.
