Samurai uphold the code of Bushido as their way of life, never straying from it...lest they bring shame to themselves and their family.
Prerequisite(s): Must have taken the Samurai Occupation at least once
Honor is All: You receive a +2 bonus to your Mental Defense. This bonus is doubled against Preternatural spells or other abilities which attempt to take control of your mind (such as possession or forced suggestions).
Katana Training: You ignore the Fragile quality of the Katana. Instead the katana is counted as possessing one of the following qualities (your choice): Penetration (1d4), Backswing (and Katana gains a Piercing attack at 2d10+4), or Brutish.
Undying Will: You can spend Magic Points, even if you aren't a spellcaster, in order to heal yourself of wounds and ailments at a moment's notice. By spending 5 MP you can recover 2d8 + Drive points of Health or instead recover from one of the following status effects: Fear, Confusion, Dazed, or Staggered.
Devote Thyself: At the beginning of battle you can choose an opponent within line of sight, devoting yourself to their death or subjugation, and anything to stray you from this path has no meaning. You are immune to all mind-affecting effects, pain, illness, confusion, and being stunned until the opponent you've devoted yourself to killing has been slain. For the duration however you take a -5 penalty to Physical Defense, and for each minute the target of your devotion remains alive you lose 1d4 Resolve. If this would reduce you to 0 Resolve you must commit seppuku (ritual suicide, effectively resulting in a self-coup de grace when next able).
Gaze of the Void: Once per encounter you can gaze at an opponent you're in combat with who is looking at you, making an Intimidate check against them. On a successful hit against their Mental Defense they're Flat-Footed at Severe Intensity for 1d4+1 rounds.
