Physical Description
Satori stand around 5' on average, and have incredibly lithe and delicate appearances. Their hair and eye colors always match, and strangely enough their hair and eye colors can be just about any color one can think of (although never a mix of multiple colors). They possess a 'third eye' which can manifest in two different ways; the first way being a flash when used as one of their existing eyes transforms into their third eye briefly while consciously in use, while the other kind is a physical eye held aloft by many tendrils which are part of their very body - often coming from the head, backs of the hands, and their waist.
Personality
Satori are naturally sullen and distrustful of others - especially humans. Their natural ability to read minds leads to an unhealthy obsession with what others think of them, as well causing the Satori to become pessimistic individuals who wish to be alone or to live among their own kind. Contingents of Satori societies teach to be wary of outsiders, not wishing to repeat their first mistake which lead to their near extinction by the hands of distrustful humans.

In addition to this they possess scars, strange metallic protrusions, horns, and warped tattoos which give them a strange and 'alien' appearance. Metallic wings, horns, and nails are common among the Nue, and tattoos often involve intricate landscapes across their backs and arms which sometimes include more as they age. Nue do not bleed traditionally, instead leaking a combination of black mist and thick black blood that pools like ink.
Personality
The Nue (pronounced "new - eh") are a strange folk due being the humanoid forms of the more monstrous creatures of the same name, their desires are often very easy to read yet still difficult to understand. Often they make a big deal around feasting upon fear and scaring people, and like to tease and toy with friends and enemies alike. This attitude makes them come off as tricksters, although not necessarily malicious ones. As well, the Nue are promiscuous philanderers who take time to attempt to woo anyone who they can, even just to say they can. This is a trait shared among both male and female Nue, and they often don't discriminate with their flirting, leading to many being ran out of towns due to ruining one too many marriages.
