Artisans are capable of crafting magic items and are skilled at making alchemical items, using their latent magical power for crafting.
Artisans must have a 4 or higher in Precision and Common Sense
Artisans receive the following skills;
Hearing, Etiquette, and Haggling at Apprentice Rank.
Arcana, Divination (Sortilege), Language (Read/Write): Native Language, Remember Detail, and Research at Trained Rank.
Math (Fundamentals), Ritual, Symbology, and three different Craft skills of your choice at Competent Rank.
Artisans receive the following equipment for their job; an Alchemy Lab, a tool kit (includes a hammer, nails, measuring sticks, and chalk), regular clothing, and a book of alchemical recipes (also contains 2 rituals and 2 runes, each on their own page).
Artisans make 15 Silver per month.
Artisans are a spellcasting occupation and use the spellcaster calculation for total Magic Points. Unlike most spellcasting occupations, Artisans do not receive any spells by taking the occupation, however they are capable of learning spells using Training Points due to being a spellcaster.
Artisans are specialized crafters who often learn under a more powerful magic user and it costs 5 TP in order to take it as an occupation. They are often the result of an individual learning to become a magic user but lacking the education needed for the Mage occupation, giving them a slower road.
Artisans also do well when combined with any other Magician occupations.
