Riding creatures.
Ability Score(s): Agility
Usage: Used for riding a creature, you usually don't require a Riding check to be made just to be able to ride normally. Riding checks are called upon for high stress situations or attempting to spur the mount you're riding upon.
Cover
You can shift over to hang alongside your mount, counting it as Cover and allowing you to make a Hide check while still mounted so long as you maintain this cover.
Leap
If you want your mount to jump on command, both you and the mount roll - you roll Riding whereas the mount rolls Jump. You use the higher of the two rolls, and afterwards this is used as if the mount had rolled a Jump check (if using your Riding check instead). See Jump for how high or how far the mount can jump. If you do this on a mount which can fly you instead make a DC 20 Riding check to spur it to begin flying.
Stand on Mount
You can attempt to stand on your mount, allowing you to benefit from the height advantage (granting a +2 to attack for possessing high ground) however you suffer a -5 to Physical Defense. In order to begin this you must succeed a DC 50 Riding check, then subsequently succeed a DC 50 Balance check using Riding as an exchange for every round thereafter.
