Fencing with weapons such as the Spada de Lato is popular among those learning swordplay.
Extended Stab (Sword Technique): You can spend 1 Stamina to gain Reach with piercing sword weapons. Alternatively no Stamina can be spent but a -5 penalty is applied to your attack rolls while applying Reach.
Penetration Training: Piercing sword weapons you wield have +1d4 Penetration if they did not already possess it. Piercing swords you possess which already possess penetration increase theirs by one die step (1d6 to 1d8, and so on).
Quick Snatch: You're able to spend 2 Stamina to snatch your weapon back into your hand if you'd otherwise be disarmed.
Agile: So long as the armor you're wearing doesn't reduce your movement speed (such as from a Breastplate) you gain a +4 bonus to Physical Defense.
Shallow Cuts (Sword Technique): When wielding a sword which only deals piercing damage (such as a Spada de Lato) you can elect to make attacks rolls with it, dealing slashing damage instead and granting the weapon Subduing. These attacks deal no damage if any Defense Points are remaining in the body part hit. In addition 2 Stamina can be spent upon making a slashing attack to grant the piercing attack Backswing.
Superior Footwork: So long as the armor you're wearing doesn't impose any Armor Penalty to you, you receive a +10 bonus to Balance and Tumble checks.
Flick of the Wrist: After successfully blocking an attack with Parry you inflict Flat-Footed at Low Intensity to the opponent you successfully parried, and this lasts for 1 round. If you successfully parry the same opponent more than once in the same round you don't increase the intensity but instead increase the duration by 1 round (to a maximum amount of rounds equal to your Agility).
