Barrister

Lawyers of the medieval times, assigned to courts and allowed to plead for a defendant of a trial. Often, Barristers work closely with Bailiffs.

Prerequisites

Barristers must have 3 or higher in Reason, Intuition, and Rhetoric, must be 35 years or older (human equivalent), must have graduated from a university with a degree in Law, and finally must be able to read their native language

Skills

Barristers receive the following skills;

Acting, Sight, and Hearing at Apprentice Rank.

Haggling, Remember Detail, Grooming, Transcribing, and Philosophy at Trained Rank.

Law, Logic, Etiquette, Persuasion, Intimidate, Storytelling, and Trickery at Competent Rank.

Equipment

Barristers receive the following equipment for their job; a book on ethics and law, a barrister's outfit (only to be worn in court), and regular clothing.

Barristers make 50 Silver per month.

Training

Barristers are the essential arm of the law meant to act in courts of law in cities where they are available and it costs 6 TP in order to take it as an occupation.

Barristers also do well when combined with any other Scholarly occupations.
