Nobles are trained in high society, and sociability.
Prerequisite(s): Mark of Nobility trait
High Education: Choose three Knowledge skills of your choice. With these skills you reroll and take the better result.
Family Allowance: You or the GM must create a family member of yours as an NPC who is gifting you an allowance of 1 Gold on top of your normal wealth from your occupation. This family member will pay this allowance for 1 year of in-game time (if able), so long as you pay them back with 25% interest within 4 months of your allowance ending. If you pay them back they will continue supplying your allowance per year. If you don't, you'll have a potential enemy...
Intimidating Presence: When making an intimidate check, this can affect an additional amount of enemies equal to your Rhetoric, Voice, or Beauty, whichever is highest.
Retainers: You receive 2 retainers who act as your personal bodyguards. These bodyguards are built as separate characters and must start with the Squire occupation. They do not earn TP like you do and instead you must invest TP into them to upgrade them. Doing so counts as spending TP into this talent (for example writing out Retainers: 25 TP if you invest 25 TP into them), and investing TP into the talent applies to both retainers, not just one. If a retainer dies, you can choose to seek out a new retainer at the cost of a number of Silver equal to 25 multiplied by the amount of TP invested into this talent. If both die you can choose to replace both or instead choose to refund the TP invested into this talent and gaining it back for yourself to spend.
Opulence: All enemies within a 4 square radius around you see your wealth on display, and find themselves jealous. They take a -5 penalty to attacking you if they are at all influenced by greed and you're wearing wealthy attire, however they receive a +5 bonus to Steal attempts against any valuables you're wearing.
Confidence: You receive a bonus to your Mental Defense equal to one of your Charisma sub-ability scores, whichever is highest. If you already add one of your Charisma sub-ability scores from any talents or occupation abilities, you instead increase that bonus by +2.
