The universe, multiverse, and its many planes and demi-planes are found here under the Realms page. This is what makes up 'reality', and its bounds are infinite. Below are some definitions to help contextualize what the various zones are, what to call them, and why they're called what they are.
The Multiverse is the collection of everything ever into one mass, ever-expanding conglomerate. It is an unending series of creation recursively creating onto itself, forming new realms, new timelines and universes, and ultimately expanding Ad-Infinium. Another way to look at the Multiverse is to look at it as being one step above a universe in terms of scope. Where a universe holds all things of one universe, a Multiverse holds all universes.
Due to its nature, the Multiverse is above any deity or entity. No being, regardless of strength or supposed strength, can destroy it nor fully comprehend it.
Unusual for most terminology, a Realm can mean one of two things; either referring to a universe and the planes and demi-planes attached to it, or referring to a location created by a deity or other form of higher being to serve as a 'home' of sorts. This second meaning can draw some confusion from those studying the Multiverse since while Heaven for example is classified as a realm, it isn't classified as a universe. Realms of the second variety are often one massive endless location rather than being a universe with planets, galaxies, and natural phenomenon. Thus some choose to differentiate by calling universes 'Natural Realms' and everything else is just 'Realm'.
A universe is an entire cosmos which contains rules for how it works - the most important rules relating to space, time, and matter. Universes are difficult to travel between, however it is possible to do so, though the process of doing so is rarely performed except by those who make it their goal to travel to different universes - something only those with plenty of time on-hand are capable of doing.
Universe Alpha (Uα) is the universe which the events of The Fourth Crusade's main setting takes place on. In contrast, Universe Beta (Uβ) is the universe which The Fade takes place on prior to its assimilation with Universe Alpha.
Planes are alternate dimensions of a universe, and may not follow the rules of the universe they come from. They're often forces of nature which are created on their own, and manifest attributes fitting to their original creation. Most universes have similar general planes relating to different aspects of nature such as the classical elements (a Plane of Fire, Plane of Water, and so on), meanwhile more specific planes are often only found on the one universe.
Demi-Planes are smaller planes which are often created by actual individuals rather than being manifest by nature, and usually have rules as determined by the person who initially created them. While a plane is often not restricted in physical size, demi-planes usually are restricted in size as determined by the universe the demi-plane is being created on. They are rarely larger than the size of the Earth's moon in terms of surface area.
