Through the manipulation of magic, certain traits and magical bonuses can be granted to normally mundane items.
Prerequisite(s): Must be a Spellcaster
Attune Weapon: You're able to infuse some of your magic into a weapon you're wielding. By spending 10 MP you can make your weapon radiate magic and align itself to you - anyone who isn't you attempting to wield your weapon immediately drops it. In addition to this, you receive a +4 bonus to attack and damage while this is active. This enhancement lasts for 1d4+1 hours or until willingly dismissed by you.
Returning Throw (Simple Technique): After throwing a weapon you can spend 1 MP afterwards to return it to your hand immediately. This return is a teleportation and doesn't require line of sight or a clear path to return to, instead rematerializing in your hand as if it had never been thrown.
Mind Shield: By spending 4 MP you can imbue a shield in your possession with this ability, allowing it to be used to defend your mind. This creates a spectral shield overlapping your physical one, and possessing Defense Points equal to your shield. The spectral shield's Defense Points instead are only reduced if the shield is chosen to take damage from attacks which target Mental Defense for you. This can also be used to block status effects and other abilities which target Mental Defense, counting them as dealing 2d8 damage to the Defense Points if blocked. This enhancement lasts for 1d4+1 hours or until the spectral or physical shield breaks.
Talisman: You imbue an item you own with magical energy, allowing you to call upon it when you need to perform certain tasks. This costs 5 MP and upon using this ability you touch an item to apply it to. For 1 minute anyone holding or equipping said item receives a +4 bonus to a single skill of your choice. In addition during the duration the wielder can use the item (5 Stamina, no MP cost) to supercharge it and instead grant a +10 bonus to the skill for a number of rounds equal to your Primary Attribute. Afterwards the item becomes inert and no longer grants any bonuses.
You can have a number of talismans active at one time equal to your Secondary Attribute (minimum of 1). These talismans can be for the same skill, but their bonuses do not stack.
