Philosophers and keepers from Bulgaria, these East Orthodox Elves are highly talented at their work, but also incredibly snobbish regarding outsiders.
Physical Description
High Elves stand at around 6'4'' on average and possess thin straight hair, with small frames and lanky bodies. Their hair is typically shades of blonde or brown and their eyes can be any color, and their facial structure is diamond-shaped with pointy noses and chins, and possessing elongated pointed ears. Their skin comes in many colors similar to humans, however they naturally look like their skin is glowing or shining in the light. Although capable of growing facial hair, High Elf society often forbids it, and is seen as one "going tribal", ending with ostracization.
Personality
High Elven society greatly shapes the personality and view of life High Elves typically hold. Society dictates a focus on Elves and only Elves - some go further yet to only focus on High Elves. Other species are viewed as no better than animals at worst, or just flawed fools who need care in the best case scenario. Outside of this, High Elves are typically traditionalists with a focus on study and magic. Heavy labor not able to be waved away from magic is typically done by the lower caste of High Elves or slaves (if they practice it). Battle and crafting are two exceptions to this, as High Elves take great pride in their traditional combat techniques and styles of crafting. High Elves have a penchant for philosophy, and idealize the Greek despite them being human.

Elves tainted by otherworldly magic from the Fae, Dark Elves are twisted and often possess pale skin and milky white eyes. They are seen mostly in Serbia.
Physical Description
Dark Elves are pale and tall, standing at around 6'5'' and possess strange completely white eyes which lack pupils or and iris, instead being like a sheet of white. Their body is well adapted to cold climates, and their skin often looks like a more cyan blue when cold and cause darker blue veins become visible. Their pointed ears common among Elves are longer than normal and slightly curved at the tip, and their hair colors are usually black if they otherwise don't decide on dying it. Dark Elves like to wear clothes which draw attention away from their eyes in non-Dark Elf areas to hide their race.
Personality
Dark Elves are moody, expressive, and feel emotions very strongly. They make few friends in life but cherish the friends they make closely, and tend not to socialize with the devoutly religious or if they do they remain cautious. Due to their general distrust and suspicion towards religions, Dark Elves often try to avoid them, finding any reason they can to disparage or criticize deities - especially those whose tenants and beliefs run the polar opposite of their own. Those who do pick a god or faith to follow are usually still critical of their deity, but remain faithful nonetheless, believing their criticism is beneficial to keep the faith true to itself.

Elves who instead reside within Venice, these Elves are of short stature and possess rounded ears unlike their Elven brethren.
Physical Description
Gnomes are short (standing around 3'6'' on average) and possess rounded ears - both atypical for Elves. Despite this however Gnomes possess other traits common to Elves such as their angular faces, pointed chins, and lithe physiques. Gnomes have a wide variety of hair and eye colors but most commonly Gnomes have black, ivory blonde, or fierce and 'fiery' red hair. Gnomish eyes are slanted and often their faces help them to be very expressive and convey strength behind their emotions due to the almost exaggerated and 'doll-like' nature of them, making them seem like something straight out of a book.
Personality
Full of energy and creativity, Gnomes are lively and bring an air of joy to even the most drab and dull places. Their positivity is either infectious, or obnoxious, depending on the individual experiencing the Gnomish optimism. Some know to dial it back and others who have no self control find themselves thrown out of less forgiving public places who can't stand the Gnomes "giving the place atmosphere". Most Gnomes prefer to be in social groups - small or large. If unable to find a social group to be a part of, they begin to go mad with depression, creating imaginary friends just so they can feel like they have people responding to them when they talk. These Gnomes are referred to as "Horizon Gnomes" by their brethren due to the saying they have - "He's gone past the horizon of madness".

Liruthi Elves (also referred to informally as 'dusk walkers' or 'darkfoots') are sullen, ashen-skinned Elves whose roles as assassins strike fear in all. Their ghoulish appearance makes it hard for others to recognize them as Elves, instead thinking of them as undead of some sort.
Physical Description
Liruthi are typically around 5'10'' on average and have ashen skin, straight hair of light colors (typically white, ivory blonde, and light gray) as well as dull white eyes. Unlike that of High Elves, their eyes do possess iris and pupils, however the iris blends in with the white of the eyes from a distance, giving them the appearance of having two black dot pupils staring out. A strange blackish-gray mist constantly flows from off their skin subtly, giving the appearance of their skin being like dust fading into the wind. This attribute of them has garnered them their nicknames of 'dust walkers', 'darkfoots' likely arising due to their common association with thieves and assassins rather than physical traits.
Personality
Liruthii are dour individuals with a bleak outlook on the world and a reputation of being silent until they are required to speak. This is due-in-part by the natural rasp in their voice frightening others, however it is also cultural as Liruthii believe speaking should only be done when necessary, as actions speak much louder than words and should thus take precedent. This is combined with their naturally stubbornness and disdain towards crowds, making them natural loners who prefer small groups of known and trusted individuals to loud bars and parties for comfort and enjoyment. Even child Liruthi exhibit some of their naturally melancholic attitude, usually spurred on by some force they cannot explain to others but instead just referred to as "a feeling in my heart". Some raised outside of the Liruthii culture are able to get past this and act in differently from what's expected, though this is rare.

Ny'var are Elves who are powerful in dark magic, worshiping Elder Gods (primarily Nyarlethotep who was prominent enough to become part of their name). Those who are unaware of their origins refer to them as "Moon Elves" due to their eyes - lacking whites or pupils and instead being one shining opalescent hue.
Physical Description
Ny'var are among the tallest of Elves standing at 6'8'' on average with fair skin and average eye colors for humans. Their hair however is devoid of color due to their association with the Elder Gods, and it only comes in shades of gray, black, and white. Their ears are pointed like other Elves, however their facial features are more square and their muscles are more defined and developed.
Personality
Although surrounded by an aura of serenity and celerity, the Ny'var are schemers by nature, and their sanity naturally fluctuates due to their attachment to the Elder Gods. In addition to this troubled personality, they are ambitious and very driven toward their goals - typically seen as positive traits although when applied to the desires of some who wish to watch the world burn or wish to be its living embodiment of terror, these traits can create them into fearsome monsters.
